AUGUST AMBASSADORS: The Wanderpreneurs

Wanderers, entrepreneurs, adventurers, RVers and full time travelers are all words that describe our family, made up of Aaron, Lauren, Casen and Calista, AKA The Wanderpreneurs.

We are a family of four who has been traveling full time since 2018. We are digital nomads who road school our preteens as we chase adventure all over the U.S., Mexico and most recently, Europe.

Most of the time we are traveling in our 2016 Coachmen Chaparral 390QSMB. (We leave it behind when traveling overseas, obviously). Originally we thought we’d just take a one year trip to see as much of the U.S. as we could, while reconnecting as a family. We didn’t expect to fall in love with the lifestyle as much as we did, and quickly realized we couldn’t stop after a year.

We were growing closer as a family, which had been the goal, but were finding other benefits as well, such as becoming more relaxed/less stressed, and were finding quite a few other families who were doing the same thing, so we started building our road community.

We started a travel blog and documented our journey. RVing was brand new to us, so we had to learn all the ins and outs about RV living, as well as figure out homeschooling for the first time. Aaron owned
his own business building websites and doing digital marketing, so he was adapting to working on the road, while I (Lauren) started getting contract job opportunities writing for RV websites and licensing photos I’d taken of our travels.

Eventually, the kids had more friends on the road than they did in a house, and we had built up a substantial network of RV friends all over the country. Our whole family loves traveling with our RV friends from place to place, then meeting back up over and over with these amazing people. Our days are laid back and we spend a ton of time outdoors, biking, hiking and exploring. We have fallen in love with National Parks and the kids look forward to becoming Junior Rangers at each park we visit.

We love living life outside, and we take pride in creating a welcoming, comfortable outdoor space where we can invite friends over to hang out. Our Glamp mat is the focal point of our space, and brings color and life to our site. We love it and always get compliments on it.

Our beloved home on wheels has taken us to some incredible places, and some of our favorite spots include Southern Utah, Southwestern Colorado and Northern California. We are passionate about travel and RVing and find great joy in inspiring and helping others get started with full time RV travel if it’s a desire of theirs.
